Higher Sounds: Bonobo- Kiara
It’s true: I’m 150x more likely to discover/identify great music, old and current, from fashion industry events as opposed to the radio. This was the first song I heard after arriving from London, which kicked off the Pamella Roland show (see below) at NYC’s Lincoln Center, one of the newer tracks from electronic great Bonobo.
Great music, great fashion- what more could a audionymphomaniac-fashenthusiast want?

This was the first show I photographed after coming IMMEDIATELY from the airport (I carried my luggage from the London trip with me throughout the time at Lincoln Center!) It felt great to be back in my element…in the photo pit.

YOUR FASHION FIX HAS ARRIVED.
Waiting for two nights in Heathrow Airport to get a flight to NY for Fashion Week proved to be worth it and then some. Though I’ve missed several days, resulting in just seven shows photographed- the experience, the key people I’ve met during the industry week, and the wholly original runway work produced the second time around has brought me opportunities that have begun to swell with my time in NY (MUCH more on that later!)
I am proud to showcase the work of my 2nd Season…and I ensure you, there’s no “sophomore slump” here. In fact, the last show, “the Grand Finale,” I will post in the series will guarantee to blow you away (I added my touch of graphic design for a special show to produce some incredible runway art).
I might post a new show every week, or maybe after the 5th day, so be sure to check the site daily for some good ol’ runway inspiration. On Monday afternoon, PAMELLA ROLAND takes the stage as the first of the seven collections.
