Lately, it seems that my post frequency is a little on the scarce end- and I apologize. I’ve been so tied up with other matters in the real world that I’ve been tending to the blog less than usual. I’m still here though- and I have some fantastic things to share with you since my last major adventure of New York Fashion Week in February.
What to expect in the next few weeks:
1) The remaining two NYFW shows I’ve photographed- Oscar de la Renta & Narciso Rodriguez. My second time photographing both powerhouse designer collections- and the images are stunning. Just wait until you see my finale post!
2) The backstory + images of my very first fashion editorial shoot in NYC a few months ago- 8 pages and the COVER of a respected magazine!
3) My very first studio shoot in April- for a fashion designer’s lookbook.
4) Some really awe-inspiring Excursion pieces featuring New York City + concert performance from N.E.R.D
5) Some more of those good ol’ spheels of things I’ve learned on the journey that are worth sharing.
Oh…and I kinda need your prayers- I’m doing my first wedding in two weeks in Dallas, TX- wish me luck!

It’s true: I’m 150x more likely to discover/identify great music, old and current, from fashion industry events as opposed to the radio. This was the first song I heard after arriving from London, which kicked off the Pamella Roland show (see below) at NYC’s Lincoln Center, one of the newer tracks from electronic great Bonobo.
Great music, great fashion- what more could a audionymphomaniac-fashenthusiast want?

Introducing: The Main Event of the New York Fashion Week season.
This was my last show to photograph for New York Fashion Week, and it surely ended with a BANG- the front row was nothing but fashion industry all-stars (Andre Leon Talley, Rachel Zoe, Franca Sozzani, Joe Zee & Robbie Myers, Patrick Demarchelier, etc) and the models lucky enough to walk the de la Renta show have been the face of many of the high fashion campaigns you see in magazines and billboards. Don’t believe me? Check out the recent ads for Gucci, Burberry, Dior, and Chanel…just for starters. It was an exhilarating cap to an unforgettable journey- from college student, to pocket camera amateur, to Fashion Week photographer in one year.
What blows my mind the most is that it only gets bigger and better for me. I intend to be a FORCE in the fashion industry…and going through the financial hell to get to my passion’s beckoning call has proved well worth it.
The Mister Levius Fashion Week Experience: Complete.
(or has is just begun?)

Not many fashion designers can claim legendary status like Issac Mizrahi. I was overwhelmed with glee when my client secured the media credential for this New York Fashion Week staple. For a first-time rookie FW photographer, this was truly a big deal. After shooting the show, I believe it is also one of my strongest runway collections- the lighting, the clarity, the faces…MON DIEU!
